I would never sign any legal document if I couldnt have it looked at by someone who knows whats going on. Im at Stevens, and they wouldnt give a copy of the lease before arriving either because each lease is written specific to the truck being leased. But once I was eligible to lease they drew up the lease and they let me fax it to whoever I wanted before signing. I faxed it to OOIDA and to my CPA.

I think if u have to ride a bus to get a job,and u dont have money to get back home. That should be a big red flag that u might want to hold off on the $650 a week lease deal.Just sayin :biggrin_2554:

I was told today by a company driver assigned to a "PREMIER LEASE" Truck that CRE has way to many Lease trucks, so their assigning some to company drivers.
It had a 56XXX number. Lease are in the 90XXX + area. The Lease Truck lot is over flowing.

That doesn't surprise me...just maybe people are waking up to the fleece scam England has & now they are having too many lease trucks collecting dust.

    Just call OOIDA and ask.
When whoever you talk to stops laughing which should give you the answer you were asking for you'll know that CRE is not but one of the many to stay the chuck away from!
There is NOT a single lease out there worth losing your shirt to except for Penski or Ryder which are actually real and true leases. With one of those you can go to whichever lease company you want OR let them get the permits for the region you want to drive in and leave you with the job of getting your own authority. Then you can go lease or buy your own trailer and do it the right way and stay away from companies that could cut your throat while patting you on the back!

Lease, but don't feed the BFIs! It's just like leasing a car! All tax deductable and you won't get this BS of go this way but no you can't get something your way!

Cre has a pyramid type sceme going i hear. Anyone ever check the BBB? Cre has several complaints on them about not paying their bills on time. Go figure, streight up robbery. Complaints mainly come from customers, damaged freight, bad service, and some others.

Nothing here ... CRE company trucks have always had 5xxxxx number and were always red. CRE isn't bothering to order red trucks anymore, what ever colors they get they use. Some go to lease, some to the company.

If you do a little bit of research,

    those lease agreements are online.

I just don't want to promote other trucking sites....
