So do I even though I haven't seen my dr for 2 years and not on meds. I monitor my bp through diet and stress relief. It rarely gets over 120/78. But it is the history that does it.

What do you do for stress relief? With all my health problems this year I seem to get stressed a lot easier than I used to. My cardiologist told me to chill out.

I go for walks several times a day. Mostly the farthest spot from the rest area building or truck stop or Walmart. The more that you walk, the better you feel. It gets you away from the truck, qualcomm and sometimes I just leave the phone there too.

I read a book or listen to a book on the cd player.

Sometimes I will just sit and watch the world go by in peace and quiet.

    Hey Mike,

I take Atenolol a beta blocker for the past 5 years for arythmias that I've had since 18 yrs old...now 35yrs. I'm not sure how old you are but in my experience, the older you get, the more used to your condition you will become= less worry. I have to get physicals once a year also. Hang in there...you'll be fine.
