Merry Christmas to everyone. I did get a early present from the state of Kentucky. A nice shiny CDL. It feels great to have that weight lifted. Looking forward to getting back out in my own truck. Baritone has been great as a trainer. He has guided me and given me the tools to succeed as a driver. It was tough having to learn another truck after spending 4 weeks in a T700 and then going over to Baritones T660. I think I have gotten away from over steering the T660. At least I hope I have.
Congrats to Ice Blue on getting his CDL on Monday. I know he has been running hard and working really hard to get ready for his CDL.

Sitting in New Milton PA tonight as I wanted to get stopped before the crazies came out for NYE. Will roll into Fulton NY tomorrow and drop this load and hope we can get something that will get us to a terminal so my student can test out. If not - we'll keep rolling along.
Everyone be safe tonight - and let's all be ready for a huge 2012!ricrey99 Thanks this. -

Interesting reading. Glad it worked out for Gtown. Does anyone know if they have an intermediate program for 'no recient experience' students that have their CDL? If I apply; I'd be going to Cartersville as I live 30 min. away in Canton.

Well we made it to Fulton with no issues and got sent to Nigara Falls for a load going to Neenah WI. It didnt deliver until the 5th so dispatch told me to drop it in the Neenah yard.
Once we got to NF NY - the weather there was nasty - raining, cold and very low clouds. Made backing into the dock a real challenge. However if you just waited a little bit the wind changed and gave me about a 2 minute window to be able to see to back in.
Got loaded there very quicky (for a Holiday) I was very suprised. Ran from there too Perrysburg, OH. G-town got his first taste of winter driving and did just fine. I know he was worn out from holding that wheel so tightly due to the high winds and the snow we encountered just outside of Cleveland.
Got up early this morning and headed towards Chicago and ran back into lake effect snow in South Bend IN all the way to Gary IN then it cleared up.
Dropped our load in the Neenah lot and got "no load available today" so we are now sitting at the Moasis T/S in Little Chute WI. Met up with another driver here and the three of us bob-tailed to a nice Asian Buffet for dinner.
It's cold as crap here but at least it's not snowing. Hoping tomorrow we can get to either Rich-yard or BRF to get him tested out and his truck. Also have to get my truck into Kenworth to fix this dang antifreeze issue. Adding at least a gallon a day - it's getting old!
Hope everyone is safe and staying warm!
Oh - almost forgot. G-Town's new nickname is "Blinker"! I'll let him tell you why! LOL -

What are they saying is the problem with the anti-freeze my trainer's truck has been doing the same thing and definitely not fun filling with those winds up there....wind cuts right thru you
