    It isn't a "rookie" company. It is a TRUCKING company. The fact is, i talked to a LOT of drivers and 90% of them were really happy with SNI. I talked to other drivers from every other company as well and their satisfaction wasn't as high. And besides, what does it really matter if SNI hires rookies? THEY had to start somewhere! There are a LOT of older drivers, who have driven a LOT longer than me working here.

    I dunno. I would place a lot of blame on the company for this. I would understand if it was abandoned in a truck stop somewhere, but at a yard? Is that just a drop yard or what?

    I'd think Schneider would have cleaned out a truck sitting on their own yard before turning it over to another driver.

    Did they at least pay you for recovery (or would they have if you had recovered it?)

    Do you know why wiseone created TTR?

    Lemme give you a little history lesson;

    Wiseone is a driver just like us, in fact if i remember right he's even a O/O. Anyway he got sick of seeing companies abuse drivers, and watching drivers blindly sign up to work for sheety companies because the only info about trucking companies availible was from recruiters...

    So he went online and learned how to build a forum....THIS FORUM to help educate drivers about trucking companies and the ways they rip you off and screw you over and to have a place for drivers to find GOOD companies to work for.

    THAT is why we come on here and post about bad companies, and continue to spread the word on these sheety companies, in an attempt to prevent other drivers from haveing to get into a truck with piss all over the place or sign up for a company that promises .32cpm and then pays you .25cpm....

    You dont have to have worked for a company to know about their BS. All you need to do is read on here, rip off report.com and talk to their drivers. If you see a pattern that goes back YEARS of 1000's+ drivers complaining about getting screwed in the same ways.....perhaps there is something too it.

    Now you've been educated.......hope you learned something:biggrin_25511:

    They routed the guy to this yard on Friday. I got the rental yesterday to come up here to get the truck. My DBL didn't have me assigned to it in the system so they really didn't know that a driver was coming to get it. Im sure that SNI will clean any truck that they give me. So, me not being assigned in the system yet, New Years eve and New years Day with the truck sitting on the yard isn't what i would call "company negligence". I believe in giving a chance before I start bashing the company.

    My first truck with USA Truck was filthy and disgusting, but not at the level you described. I was new and naive so I cleaned it but did demand a new mattress.

    I'm not new and naive anymore thankfully. The company I'm with now always details the trucks before they assign to new drivers and replaces the mattresses. Way to many diseases and bed bugs these days!

    American Trucker...thanks for the history lesson, but rest assured Im also NOT an idiot. I did my research on SNI. I talked to a LOT of drivers. Read a LOT of forums. Is SNI perfect? Hell no! They are far from it. But, so are ALL of the other companies out there. I believe that you get OUT of a company what you put IN! I also believe that I needed to have actually pulled a load for a company before i bash it with info that I have no clue about...having not ever worked there and all.

    sheesh!

    Good for you for not driving it. Too many people would drive it anyway. You have to say no to these companies sometimes.

    We have a driver that used to lay a newspaper on the floor of the can (theres no passenger seat) and spit his chewing tobacco on it and just leave it there. Never even changed the newspaper. I aways refused to drive that tractor.
