speaking of money, i took home over 2900 bucks this last check, did you hire on with nabors?

thanks buddy, are you in it too?

yes, kickin butt is very fitting, its what the head supervisor said i was doing.

It turns out that the leadership here have been really noticing my efforts here and theres been some talk about it. I was complimented a few times and although i dont take compliments very well, mainly because i dont think i'm doing anything more than doing my job, my superiors have really been pleased with my efforts and have let me know about it, they have said quite a bit but i really hate to boast, its not my style.

It also turns out that they have found out about this blog from a few people who have followed this thread and are now hired on to nabors. The head supervisor was extremely happy about this and told me that the HR department let him know and from what i understand, the main office in houston has gotten wind of this as well. So with that being said, i would like to repeat that i am not a recruiting post for nabors, nor do i make a dime off of it, i dont recommend nabors, nor do i steer anyone away from it.....all i do is write about my experiences and i keep it real from my perspective and let those reading make their own judgement.

Now with that being said, i can now tell you all this, that here at nabors, if you bust your butt and really put forth effort, your efforts will be noted. I cant say that all that and a wooden nickel will buy you a cup of coffee, but ive been assured that it will get me somewhere here. If it can get me somewhere, then theres nothing stopping anyone else.....BUT YOU HAVE TO PUT IN THE EFFORT. I myself put in just about every hour humanly and legally possible here and whatever the company needs from me, i say yes sir without hesitation. As long as i collect a check from an employer, regardless if i dont like the job or company, i put all the effort i can 110%. If i cant do that, then that means i know where the door is and i simply walk out. I simply wont work for anyone without putting in all the effort i can. I think that is simple buisness and work ethic, fair is fair.

I can honestly say that i didnt like it here at nabors till i was on my own. There is still things i dont like about the company but this is normal, there is no perfect company out there, you simply find what works for you and maximize that and ignore or deal with what you dont like. As time has went by, i like nabors more and more. Sometimes, you have to give things a chance. Nabors gives me just about all the hours i can handle, as a matter of fact, they are tickled pink at giving someone all the hours they can.....this works for me. Ive also found that because i put tremendous effort, they recognize this and really try to help me out wich is more than i can ask for.

So with all that being said, this blog helps out the company because a few people who have read it have hired on to nabors and nabors is thrilled with this. I do whatever i can for the company i work for even if they treated me like crap and they treat me really well here at nabors, so i'll gladly help them out.

Yes, nabors is in serious need for drivers, newbies or whatever, it doesnt matter, i assure you all of this. I will talk to my superiors and ask exactly what criteria they need from a new hire as far as records and background checks and pass it on and answer any questions anyone interested may have. I have not been 100% on this in the past because i been so busy but since this is helping out the company, then its buisness that i'll stay on top of.

.....other than that, i'll continue to tell stories and keep it real. Its been sort of slow here recently, followed by all hell breaking loose and then slow again, but i been getting my hours in and things are going to get very busy very soon and i'm looking forward to the challenge of kicking ### and i am certainly ready. I tell ya, there are some nights (most nights actually lol) that i execute so well, from driving to paperwork to jumping out of the truck and kicking dust and making hoses fly. One of the funnest things for me is getting unloaded at a particular SWD. When i'm unloaded and really on the move for the next job, when i release that parking brake, i'm in 6th gear before i hit the exit gate, its one huge loop to the left and out the gate and then a sharp right onto the street and in the dark it feels like youre going a million miles an hours......ARRRRRRRR, BWARRRRRRRRRR, BWARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come and get it boys! It dont matter what company you work for, driving these trucks is fun!
