You are correct. Sorry to say but that will NEVER change. Too many sheep waiting in line and the companies know this. They are not dumb. They have been taking advantage of drivers since trucking started. We are our own worst enemy.

I know this is easy for me to say but only you can change who you work for. There are good companies out there that will pay a driver for all of their on duty time.

Do you Have any info on Nalco drivers namely the Long beach area.

 

I know they are on Domiguez street. I used to deliver freight there years ago with my company before I went tanker full time. The drivers I talked to were very happy and made very good money. They also said that there is a long list of applicants. The was quite some time ago but I hope it helps.
