Nervous is normal for any one. Hardest part of orientation for me was the bus ride from Louisville, Ky to NLR. Lol.
-
Also be aware that the trucks.will.roll.backwards when in gear . Keep your.left.foot.on the.brake.when you are sitting.
-
Haha i bet, oh and appreciate that jimthehut didnt know automatics would do that.

On with what Jim said. When I was doing my driving test, I had a stop sign at the top of a hill. I stopped of course, but I forgot to keep my foot on the brake while I was putting my foot on the accelerator. There was a car behind me and luckily I put my foot back on the brake in time. You will feel the truck start to take off; so as it does release the brake pedal.

The thing to remember is that these are auto shifters. There is a clutch...just no clutch pedal.

I talked to my recruiter today and he said I should be leaving on the 13th or the 20th of January. Hopefully it's soon. I'm gettin anxious...
