tetreau has been screwing my dad for 5 months now,,,he hasent had a pay check since he stared with them and im not kidding,...just like the guy said about the 90 day plate(TOP)...my father was headed to burmingham al...when he realize his 90 day was up..he called it in and they said they had the plates there..so my father ran with the 90 day plates hoping that when he got stopped the plates would be in the DOT system. he ended up getting stopped and explained to DOT what his situation was so they ran his plate through the tallahassee system and nothing came back my father was then written a fine of over 2000 dollars. my father sat in a hotel in burmingham al for ten days waiting for his plates the company then notified him that they never got the plates, then he recieved in the mail another 90 day plate
also the fuel cards are exactly like everyone is saying. they never have money on them and it takes hours to get fuel. he has been stranded on the side of the highway several times due to this. they then take the money to service the truck out of his paycheck
my father is currently stuck under one of their loads, and desperately trying to get out. can anyone help him out with an owner operator job.
please, we are in need of help, does anybody know what to do from here. if anyone knows please email me peter.gaida@yahoo.com
i am not a troll or whatever you guys call people who rewrite the same complaint with a different name,i read this 8 page forum to my father last night,,,all he could say was"i thought i was the only one"

Where is the yard from where Dad is? If it's close, take the tractor, trailer, load and all and dump it on them in the yard. Can't say it's abandoned if he took it to the yard. If the yard is not close, deliver the load and then deadhead the equipment to the yard. If he owns the tractor but not the trailer, find a drop yard on the way home. Whatever he does, make sure he does not abandon either load or equipment outside the yard. He can be pegged with abandonment and that would almost surely be the end of his career.

If he is a member of OOIDA, he needs to contact them. If for no other reason than to give them a heads up about this company so they can notify other members. Their legal department may be interested. Also, contact Paul "Opie" Taylor in Minnesota. I believe his website/business is called "Truckers' Justice" or some such. He is an attorney who loves nothing more than to win a legitimate case against POS carriers.

Whatever he does, he needs to get out of that mess. I'm surprised a guy with 17 years' experience is still sticking it out. They can't force him to run the loads. He can refuse the loads and tell them to route him back to the yard. A reasonable amount of time needs to be allotted for that to happen.

Geez...I hear stuff like this and it makes me happy to be leased onto

Wow, 5 months without a paycheck? The definition of insanity. Course as always, who knows what the real story is.

5 months? Somebody loves being screwed. Sit 10 days waiting on plates? I would not care what this company put on my DAC.
Too many running in fear of what goes on their DAC.

my father is 52 and has been driving over 30 years...he is an old school trucker...hes stuck in the old days thinking he can make $3000 a week,i went owner operator for a while and the most i made in a week was $1800 and some weeks i would make less than $500...my worst paycheck was -$1500(negative) because i was not informed that the load was a C.O.D...so it came out of my pocket...
If you go to the bottom of this page you will see a link to another conversation about tetreau trans...its 8 pages long and will fill you in about other driver getting stuck with this company..i called him and hes deliverying in P.A. in acouple of hours..the company is in F.L.
He really hasent had a paycheck...when he came up for x-mas i met him...and we had to drain the water out of his radiator cause he doesent hav e money for antifreez...and his oil was 2 gallons low....i payed for everything for his x-mas present
they keept telling him they hes almost out of the hole, with paying off escrows, tags ect...so he just keeps running and running till the hole tag thing came up...this is where i found this web site and all the other drivers going through the same problem with this company
when i read it all to him he realize it wasent just him
