I just took a half hour or so to pick through various internet postings about C.R. England. The most intersting ones are listed below. I tried to mix it up by listing some pro, some con, and some indifferent views about the company and found that there are many varying views.

Stood around with a CRE lease driver the other evening. Both waiting to be loaded.
He just signed his second lease, so he's made the first big step.
Asked him abut miles, dispatch, etc.
He confirmed just about everything you hear on these posts. Short miles, charges coming out he didn't understand, not getting home, etc.
I asked him how much he netted this past year: "$256 per week, took 4 days hometime."
He said it like he was proud.
Asked him why he resigned after so little pay, hometime, etc.
"Stupid, I guess. Had me in northern Minn and told me Ihad to find my own way home if I didn't resign. Plus they would charge me with abandonment of truck and load."
So there you go... -
All I can say is your user name is quite appropriate .
. $.90 a mile loaded ?
Now we have the facts . Thank you . Now everybody with a lick of sense can avoid CRE -
That boy doesn't have a lick of sense .
