is there a minimum speed in your scenario?
on its face I would say no. But what do I know. I just learned how to steer them big things!!![]()
But seriously, the only way I could legally see delay of traffic is if your truck was below the minimum limit for that raod. Otherwise you present an adherence to the posted limit for trucks. At least this makes sense to me.
I suppose a PITA could screw with you , but wouldnt or shouldnt get the tix to stand.
Question, ARE there any split speed single lane/direction roads out there?
Just some of the stupid things I see

Bonus question-what's the only state east of the Mississippi to have a speed limit higher than 55 on a two-lane road? -
-
Any time it goes down to a 2 lane road the speed limit drops to 55 for all vehicles.josh.c Thanks this. -
As for the bonus question....is it Florida?
I kinda loved driving on 2 lane roads in Cali with 65 mph speed limits with the cruise set to 58 and seeing all those cars piling up needing to pass. I just say "Don't like it, go whine to CalTrans!"Last edited: Jan 7, 2012

If you are being passed on the right, in a lot of states you CAN be cited for obstructing traffic. Some states allow you to obstruct traffic IF you are maintaining at least the posted speed limit, but as a general rule if you are being passed on the right, you're in the wrong lane and you need to move into the right lane. -
IIRC, in Germany on the Autobahn, both the passer and passee can be cited in that instance, the car blocking the left lane for not keeping right and the car that passed on the right for an illegal pass. On the Autobahn outside of cities, passing on the right is illegal.
