Our plan is for me to get out there and then move my wife and kids out later on.
Are most of the oil jobs a seasonal type thing?? -
not so much seasonal as such. but breakup can vary in length depending on the weather, and the price of oil. if its high enough they will make it happen no matter what.usually it tapers off by the middle of April or beginning of may. it usually doesn't really go with a bang until early July, and then builds up to full bore over the next winter.

Nitrogen,I talked to Sanjel this morning, for a class 3 driver I would clear 4000 a month, does this sound about right?? thankx..
-
Nothing wrong with that for starting money
-
boozie, did you talk to the other well servicing companies. there could be a higher paying job out there.
-
I love when a recruiter tells me what I will net! How do they know....are they tax experts? The more important numbers are dollar per hour pay, overtime pay and gross earnings.
-
sanjel i believe pays a base wage and job bonus, that wage seems low to me for what sanjel does.
-
4000 gross sounds more likely for just a tandem driver. 4-5 net you have to expect over 6 gross and I can't think of any tandem jobs that would get that kind of money
