They do at times put questionable DAC entries. Here's my story: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...c-report-reporting-inacurate-information.html
Basically they put me down as no show when I never technically got a CDL and never actually hauled a load for them. I graduated their school but had a change of heart and left. They also put down: "Driver Experience: Over the road" which is obviously false (If I did drive OTR for them then they broke the law as I've never had a CDL).
I haven't fought it because to be honest I doubt I will ever come back to the industry. Although I guess maybe I should just in case and on principle. -
So the stated reason was "improper use of equipment" That could be any one of a hundred things. Question I have is , did you in any way alter anything about that truck?
That this may be the reason? Or would you describe yourself as hard to work with? Did you raise concern after concern for things that you deemed important? I guess what I'm asking , is this maybe personality driven? -
my guess is you were under a load somewhere near close to the terminal and u decide to quit for wethever reason and either u bobtail or truck and trailer without aut. to the company, thats why is that on your Dac plain and simple and that will stay 7 yrs on your record, but dont panic some companies dont give a #### what dac say.

My prior experiences of course.

Bucktrucker I was just through the same thing . Schneider is bad.

I can see you're a young man, so let it be a lesson that when you quit a job or want to resign, put it in writting and send it via USPS certified with return rcpt, send it email, place a copy on everyone whom needs to know desk and please give a 2 week notice. Just my. 02Joescheppae Q Thanks this.

I don't think it's Schneider. Like Dujo kind of said, that if a student, driver, or even a bulk division candidate does not let Schneider know in writing that they will not continue in any capacity w/ the company it is in that person's best interest to deliver that notice in any way possible and then " in writting and send it via USPS certified with return rcpt, send it email, place a copy on everyone whom needs to know desk."
I saw it happen today. One guy didn't come back to training today and did not inform anyone of this fact. I am not currently at liberty to discuss what was said by the interested parties buit was not pretty.
However, if my man would have at least given the OC a call, sent a note along with the van, or even sent the driver business leader a quick note to let the instructors know he wasn't coming back.
I know that if i ever leave Schneider bulk It will be handled just like Dujo said. Cover them bases. -
you screwed ur self!!.do not blame the company for ur own ignorance.be responsible ur own actions.

I don't drive for them now but I didn't find them bad at all. Pretty good, actually.
