My truck only has power dividerbiggrin_2553
. I chain mostly for going off road. If i need alittle more bite i chain one axle. If it is a long or tough pull, i chain both axles, for traction and hoping to save alittle wear on power divider...

Well, i don't really "care"( i do care) so much about state or provincial laws what i was more concerned about is the question of maximum traction.
i was thinking that if you only chained one axle, then if the other un-chained axle broke loose then you're back to square one as far as getting stuck. -
Triples on both drive axles will give u max traction. I use a set of Trygg 2000's and a set of Scan trac's.
-
What do triples and singles mean?
-
A triple will chain up duals and a single will chain up one tire on a dual.
-
So all sets of chains must have cams?
-
No, but I wouldn't buy any without the cam's. -
Any other suggestions as far as where to buy?
-
I bought mine at NAPA.
