KLLM has appearance policies. But I have seen quite long hair, beards and mustaches need to be clean and neat appearing.
If you have to go onto the docks of certain food preparation facilities you will need to wear a hair net whether you have 3 feet of hair or only one hair!

Swift must not since the guy I saw the other day getting out of his truck looked like he was a member of ZZ top!

ZZ Top is so washed up it very well could have been one of them...
Working Class Patriot and Pmracing Thank this. -
Alot of Tanker companies didn't want beards due to chemical plants where they are not allowed.
I had to have one guy shave, his 18yr old son never saw him without his beard before...dad looked like Jerry Garcia b/4 he shaved. -
I would suggest getting a military-style "high and tight" and wearing a suit and tie...

Actually, policy and reality are 2 different things. "Policy" may state long hair OK, but the safety guy may hate long hairs and send you home at orientation for whatever reason. You really just want to blend in and NOT stand out so much.

My dad looked so different when he shaved his beard for his 2 weeks in the reserves when I was growing up.

Steer clear of Werner. Message me if you want details

I've seen men with long hair many times out here. It doesn't seem like an issue. Just keep in mind long hair is harder to keep neat when you live in a truck. And it is neatness that matters. I'm sure all the mega carriers have seen all kinds of people walk through their doors.
