How many miles are you folks averaging?

    Solo?

I was talking to a driver from NTB yesterday and he's telling me that industry wide your lucky if you can average 2000 a week driving OTR? Is this true?

Your guy from NTB was mostly right. But not 100%. There are companies out here that will run you until you drop.

I'm regional, so I generally average around 2k - 2500 per week. Sometimes less, sometimes more. I want less ;) but with more stops.

I'm running long this week ( OTR ). As of this moment, I have run 3900 (in 7 days) and still like 400 for this run. I had to stop tonight, I'm out of hours until midnight Sunday. Load delivers whenever I get there Monday.

I'm not EVEN going to try and tell you this is average for my company...It's just what I got.

But I can tell you, they "want" our OTR drivers to get at least 10K a month. Or about 2500 a week.
