I am supposed to pick up an oversize load that is 44'4"x11'4"x10'2" and 45,000lbs. I have a 38' bottom deck, so I will have 6'4" of overhang. This can be permitted for. My question is will I have any trouble with weight distrubution? Making sure my axle weights on the trailer are good to go.

Truck and trailer is 34,000. Trailer alone is 10,500.

You'll be close but I don't think you'll have any trouble axleing it. Make sure if it has a heavy end you load it up against the neck.

You should be fine if the piece is fairly uniform. With only 45k, you,d be hard pressed to hit 40 on the spread. You might want to only order one state in case the weight is on the light side.

That is my thought as well, putting the heavy end up against the neck. If there is one. Its supposed to be some type of little building for an electric company.

I agree with the others, put weight as far forward as possible and only order one state for now, you should be fine

No permitted load will be allowed to travel into or through the area bounded by I-285 (Atlanta bypass), unless the vehicle is making a pickup or delivery within the area. The driver must be prepared to show proof of such pickup of delivery. In addition, a permit issued for the movement of a vehicle or load is not valid between the hours of 6 a.m. through 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. through 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Parking on the interstate and limited access highway rights-of-way will not be allowed for permitted vehicles waiting for authorization.
Am I reading this correctly? No permitted loads inside the beltway within those hours, but I-285 is ok for travel within those hours? -
Yep that would be a curfew and sounds to me that they will allow travel around the loop but not inside it. Indianapolis is the same way you can run 465 during curfew but not inside.SHC and Oscar the KW Thank this.

Yep, u can run 285 all day long, as long as that is the route they issue you.
