Well I guess she got the info she needed then doesnt want to post again. I have been curious what her husband found and if it worked out.
I just returned from ND right before christmas.

 

I am seeing trucks from Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota and Idaho here in Oklahoma pulling belly dumps. Wondering if it is to cold for them and they come south for the winter or they are having a hard time finding work up their. Had one ask me today about the rates down here because he was working for one outfit and thought it was cheap. It depends on what oil field company you haul for some pay better then others. I ask him why he was hauling it if he thought it was cheap and he told me he just got here and was getting his foot in the door but the rates were better up north. I told him he should turn his truck around and face north then gas on it until he reaches home and don't forget your buddies, he didn't think it was funny but I did. These guys show up with four axle trucks and three axle trailers and can't load enough because they are to heavy and then ##### about the rate.

 

You can't haul whatever you can axle that just sucks ###. Up here most places we can haul 96000 gross if you can axle it and are registered for it. And yes I do know that in Oklahoma you can't haul what you can axle and would be better off with a five axle unit. Honestly I will be staying up here even if it is cold.

 

Whats the best company to contact for flatbed owner/op or contractor? I have my own truck, trailer, authority & everything else lined up..except the loads haha

 

What kind of money can be made for OO without hazmat? I come from northern maine & have worked hauling oversized log trailers all off highway for 7 years.
