You need to be more specific . FedEx has several divisions
-
If you want to drive OTR, then do so. Who cares what other drivers want? Do what you want. Yes, there are some people who think home every night is some kind of utopia, but not all drivers feel that way. I personally think being homeless is utopia. So do what you want.

Thinking I am sticking with homeless, and laying my head down now and then at the place that I call home now.....well said.

I think Fedex requires 1 year experience.. If you find differently let me know
-
Apply anyway!!! Whats it gonna hurt? They wont cut your legs off or ding your credit score!
-
Fedex is a good place to work. But i think they require experience.

I think the door to door deliveries using a parcel van don't require experience, however hiring newbies for the big trucks does, (I think). Or, wait, maybe they don't, since you see so many Fed-ex doubles in the ditch.
pes2 Thanks this. -
Fedex doesn't have company Ground, or Home Delivery drivers, afaik. They are all contractors, and the contractors own certain routes, and then either hire for those routes themselves, or run the route themselves.

My best friend has worked for Fed Ex Freight for almost 12 years and loves his job but they do require experience. Actually they just changed the one year requirement to two years. He says he can get me in but I'm not sure I'd be happy bumping docks 2-3 dozen times a day.
