Rv's have got to be the worst, most people can barely keep 'em in their lane, pickups pulling campers with no towing mirrors (so they can't see crap) .
Speeding moving vans are funny, was coming thru the gorge and then down the big hill (east of Asheville,NC) when the CB explodes with talk of a runaway u-haul. Well the bumpkin caught up to me, and he was screamin! (70,maybe faster) and right on his six was a NC trooper. Best ticket ever, without a doubt, would have only been better if I got to see him hit the runaway truck ramp.![]()
What bothers you the most??

Hey when was this? I saw a runaway u haul awhile back when I was going over the gorge. I always stopped at the Pilot in Waynesville for a Dr. Pepper break and let my brakes cool. Nothing like going through the gorge pushing the weight!
-
Yeah you ain't kidding, or coming down US23 (soon to be I-26) from TN to NC, that can really be fun (depending on which way you're going).
The runaway Uhaul happened about a week, maybe ten days ago. -
Haha it was a different U haul! I bet that was one wild trip though! Another good pull is Fancy Gap.
-
Yeah it sure was, the chatter on 19 was pretty amusing, as was watching that doof being chased by the NC trooper!
If you aren't paying attention Flat top will get you, esp since it's right there not far from Fancy Gap. I-68 is a major piece, I ran that once grossing 79800, NEVER AGAIN. -
Ditto! And now on top of those, is the wide loads hauling parts for those windmills on the same type roads~! -
Polls.

I have a problem with imported truck drivers who have a cell-phone welded to their ear, steering with their elbow, and going way under the speed limit. Try and overtake them, then suddenly the phone call is not that important and now they try to block you from getting by them.
In some of the industrial parks I work in there are regular forklifts travelling down narrow, 2 lane roads. That is annoying...
I also have to agree with Seaborn08 that farm equipment on the roads is highly dangerous at the best of times. They take up the whole road, travel at walking pace, and there is no way of getting around them sometimes. On my route at the right time of the year there are combines creeping down the road! You have to see the traffic back up behind one of those! -
I've never had an issue with 5th wheel campers or rvs in general. I always see them ahead of time and look for an opportunity to pass. My only major issue is when I have the cruise control on, catch a truck, and once I get next to him he speeds up. So I speed up, hit my governor and can't pass him. Then I drop back to let the 4 wheelers go by, and try again. Seems as if every time the driver is on a cell phone. Can't stand that.

you forgot to list the truck with the RED,WHITE & GREEN flags on the side of it. those are the most irritating!
