When I was teaming with my girlfriend we discovered how sucky the FL OEM mattress is when the truck is moving. It's like trying to sleep on the spinning teacup ride at disneyland.
For about $350 we had "The Original Mattress Factory" in Chillicothe Ohio custom cut and build a thick memory foam mattress with a pillowtop. They came out and measured the bunk, and the next day we picked it up.
It was a race to see who got to sleep on it first! SO COMFY! From that day forward, team driving was drastically improved for us. The biggest benefit was that the pillowtop helped to keep you from rolling off during a braking event. That lateral stability really helped us sleep better. Only downside is that it's a ##### to get in and out of your truck if you don't have sleeper-doors, and you need special sheets that are fitted for extra thick mattresses. (The ole lady got some at bed bath and baloney) -

Had one of their top of the line mattresses....Piece of ####!
Tossed it in a dumpster when it was a couple of months old. -
A regular air mattress from wal-mart works great under a factory mattress.

Yep! It fits my Columbia great, but is about 3 inches too narrow for the T2000. It's 7 years old and has over a million team miles on it, and is still like new (except where her cat sharpened his nails on it once while it was in the house). I've let some good stuff go with trucks that I've sold, like Ranger radios, flatscreens, etc, but I always take the mattress.
Seriously, those folks rock. I'll order from them again if I ever need a replacement.
(No, I'm not a sales rep for them, lol.)
