im 34 years old and have been working as a tile setter for 10 years. i have always been interested in truck driving. especially when my cousin became a trucker 20 years ago. it was just never the right moment to start. but now im ready for a serious career. i joined this forum in hopes that i could get some advice on what schools and companys are the best to work for before i just start applying everywhere. i live on the west coast and there are too many options when i just do a web search. if you have any advice i greatly appreciate it.

Welcome to the wonderful world of truckin budda. :biggrin_25523: As to what kinda truck driving job? It depends on what you wanna do... i.e. flatbed, dry van, reefer etc... I did my schooling in Murfreesboro Tn over 11 yrs ago. And since then its been all flatbeds, stepdecks and RGN's. It's a lotta work in that area. But like I said, depends on what kinda trailer you wanna drag around.
