The typical ego driven childish responses were as I expected. I suppose, if someone is handed an NAL for about $10,000, it would get your attention. What do you think Tom? But I would rather not go that route.

Like I said before, 5150, you don't live here, so you nothing about the situation or these guys behavior, but the drivers here that use the radio for a legitimate purpose, are fed up the BS from the "CBRN", and have been collecting and sharing data about this for a while.

Unlike others, I don't cause anything over the air. You've never heard me on the air, so you have no idea of what I do. Rather, I use a proper forum such as this to address this situation. It is your prerogative not to agree, so be it, but certainly your childish insults are not helping the situation or your friend. 5150, seems that since I live here and hear this crap everyday, and you don't, I know about 100% more about what goes one here in the DC area, than you.

Cool Breeze, if you want to bring your DOT friend around somewhere (I assume you are speaking of your CB friend out of Fredericksburg) no problem, but please be forewarned. I've never worked in a quarry, so again you will look like a horse's ### trotting up the wrong tree.

this is about the interactions on the cb radio

whether your a trucker , diesel mechanic ,4wheeler , welfare recipient
its about being decent

doesnt matter what you do , where you live , nor how long you've done it

what it does ILLUSTRATE ..... is that while that many drivers will claim the " I was verbaly assaulted on the cb radio "
is in fact pure BULLs**t

for it does dispel the myth that most drivers are completely innocent of the goings on over the cb radio !.

as it clearly shows that it takes two to tango,
and with that to the ones that are thin skinned , need to toughen up .
or show some respect to receive some respect!

but when someone keys a microphone on #19 and asks a simple question ?
the response shouldn't be "shut up stupid " of "you have 39 other channels" to ask questions on !
or " this is the truckers channel" only for truck to truck communications

for the correct answer is its the citizens channel as all 40 are and we are to share them equally and show some courtesy about doing so !

years ago there used to be a phrase about truckers
"White Knights of the open road"
something that has gone by the wayside.

but now days its different, its more like this is mine because im a trucker and im entitled to this because.......FAIL!

and the next time i hear some trucker say "if it wasnt for a trucker driving , i wouldn't have this or that".......
let this be known , if it wasnt for the people buying products at stores.

coolbreeze does have a way with irritating some , but only because they cant handle the truth, though he can handle the walk of life in the metropolitan cb radio experience, as to much of my dismay , many of you can not , and you do know that !
maybe it would be better suited for yapping your flippers on a iphone, or taking up knitting , as it would be less stressful to your basic physical psychic and mental faculties
