I was wondering how they got back for the next load? Teleporter? Oh, teleporter miles are not paid.

I don't think Decker lost it's PrePass because of bad safety scores:
    http://safersys.org/query.asp?searc...ery_string=53824&original_query_string=DECKER TRUCK LINE INC

Their scores on OOS inspections are WELL BELOW the national average:
    1). Vehicle = 11.6% (National Average= 20.72%)
    2). Driver = 2% (National Average = 5.51%)
    3). Hazmat = 2.8% (National Average = 4.50%)

Those numbers are from total inspections done within the 24 month period prior to 06/11/2011
These my friends are the same numbers DOT look at when you are stopped and/or going through a scale.
These my friends are the same numbers that help DOT determine if a company audit is in order.
And these particular numbers my friends, are the same numbers that are going to get Decker a green light every time at a PrePass scale....NOT get the PrePass taken away.

Besides; I don't think DOT can take PrePass from any company....DOT don't "regulate" the PrePass....they have agreed to the system....but they have nothing to do with owning or regulating PrePass.
ANYONE with ANY safety score can have (and pay for) PrePass.....but if your score blows; you ain't gonna see too many green lights.

here my 3cents 38,400 divided by 2drivers. =19,200 a month per driver. Or 4,800 a week per driver is that leagal. 685mi a day per driver. They must have been doing drop and hook both ends and never showered.

Yes that can be done. You have 24hrs in a day of which lets say 15 minutes for pretrip and a 10 hr break leaves you with 13.75 hrs. You take a half hour break at 5.5 hrs and you are left with 13.25 hrs. That around 52mph when you add a occasional fuel stop in and d&h time..

My question would be, that the driver is claiming they run 4800 miles a week and gets paid $1450 per week which is .30 and change per mile. Not to great unless they are married.

dot does control who can have pre pass. If you do not have a good score or have a drop in your score they can take away your pre pass at anytime. I had Dot take my transponder out of my truck when the company i flew under had 3 bad wrecks. the bad part was if they would have looked it up my pre pass was mine not the company i flew under. i had all my own stuff back than..
