Any large type carrier that does not use e-logs?

Not anymore. They are all pretty much on e-logs. I'll be honest, I got mine in May of last year and I love them. Last week I ran 4009 miles on them, still had 40 minutes left of my 70 and I was picking up hours as well.

Watkins Shepard still runs paper for the most part. Only a few of our trucks are on E-logs. I talked to one of them and he says he likes it.

I've been on them for 4 years I will not work for a company that doesn't have them.
How many years have you been driving and why are you asking?
You do realize that doing 2x the work for the same pay keeps wages low. Why should they pay drives a good wage to run legal when most run illegal for less pay?Last edited: Jan 16, 2012

Someone was asking me and I was trying to help them find their answer. -
e-logs are the only way to go, keeps you and your company legal.

pretty soon it will be mandated anyway

plus,the look on a cops face when he ask for your logbook,and you hand him your qualcom is priceless.
