I hope to see big cheese and meet new drivers running north east!

Is it hard to get the NE regional gig? Since we live in the NE (wayyyy in the NE part of the NE!) that might be a good thing to look into should husband progress with Prime. Is hometime any different than with any other route?
-
Heard its kind of hard to get on the NE regional. Thats something to talk to Prime about. If they have any slots open it might be a posibility after hes finished training.
-
Not difficult at all to get NE regional. What part of Maine are you from? If your not far from Lewiston they are even looking for dedicated drivers out of the Walmart DC there. Home every weekend and even a couple times during the week if your close enough. It's a pretty good gig if you don't mind running the Walmart circuit. If your just running the North East regional you will get home every 2 weeks unless freight running through the house. We do have alot of freight in upper Maine.

Hey Eazy E it was great meeting you in Sprimo. Hope you like that new truck. See ya soon up in the great North East.........

We live near Belfast (mid-coast). Might be something worth looking into once we get to that point. Thanks!

Nice meeting you big cheese see ya soon bro making my way up slowly but ill get to the north east the walmart circuit would be great for ya dixieswife I talked to a few of the drivers and they love it!!!

Hey Dixieswife,
I live in Sanford Maine and Got a pre-hire with Prime. They told me right out of school i could start running the Northeast regional. The only thing is with running the Northeast is they put you in a lightweight truck with no passenger seat ,twin bed and i think they only have one fuel tank (100 GAL). Have you started with prime Yet? -
I'm not the one starting with Prime, it's my husband. I have to stay home and hold down the fort (minifarm) for now. Our plan is to send him to the Feb. 7th orientation.
Question for those running the regional now: how many miles per week do you get? We assume the pay bonus is to make up for less miles overall.
