HaHaHa!!!! I actually did that years ago. I was coming up on a truck and thought I had plenty off speed to pass. When I pulled out to go around the other truck, I lost the draft and it seemed like it took me 15 minutes and 20 miles to get around it. What made it even worse is the other driver refused to give an inch which made it all the worse.
I learned real quick to turn to the right early and the other drivers would lift their right foot. -
Watching the mirrors when passing somebody and leave a bit more room than you think is enough before the truck you just passed, when you get back into the right lane
TractorGator Thanks this. -
Signal your lane change well before making your move. Move left out of the right lane when approaching: scales(if green lighted by prepass), rest areas, exits with truck stops, exits with two Interstates or major highways intersecting, or any other situation on the right where it is OBVIOUS that slow moving vehicles or heavy traffic will likely be attempting to merge. Lift the #$%^ seat and for Gawd's sake Flush!!

This is way over your head. As you might've noticed i directed the comment towards Red Hot Mess. It's a little joke from a thread she made. Now straighten your panties out before they rub you raw.

I can hardly believe you mean it. I see you're a driver of 17 years. Are you serious? Our truck does 72, why do i have to slam on my brakes just because somebody cuts me off.... it is dangerous....TractorGator and Injun Thank this.

There's a real good reason to have the company name and phone # on the back of the trailer.

know your truck and concentrate on being the safest driver on the road, than your golden...
best of luck driver..TractorGator Thanks this. -
TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR RIDE. It doesn't matter who's name is on the door. The way that truck is kept is a direct reflection on you. When you pull up to a shipper or reciever they dont see the owner climb out of the truck they see you.
TractorGator, Licensed to kill and thehornet Thank this.
