make sure you come w/ your head screwed on right. you will find there will be a large group of your fellow classmates who will not takle this seriously at all. don't associate w/ them focus on the task at hand!!!! these are 80,000 lbs death machines in the wrong hands and anyone who doesnt keep that in thier head every second behind the wheel is just the type to watch out 4. good luck and be safe!

 

Hey Diesel,Slow poke, and Daddy!I too will be attending as of the first week of March.I have a CDL-A but no fifth wheel.Been driving wheelers for 13+ years.Finally decided to take the over the road challenge,as I have no woman or kids at the moment, and barely into my 30's.I too have to check in every week.I'm very nervous about the venture because after reading on this forum for over 2 months,I can see all sorts of things can go wrong.It will be a serious commitment but I'm gonna give it a run for the money(no pun intended)lol.Please keep us updated of your experience as I will be reading daily.Thank you to all for your posts as they are very valuable.
