Your right on that we do have the right to work where ever we choose. But as many people have now posted in here. The company can't seem to get there own head out of there ###'s. As far as eobr goes the eobr are for ####### that can't fill out a log book properly. Jbs didn't opt to use eobr. The federal dot told them they had too. And for driver fitness there is already a standard dot physical in place. That ought be more then enough without companies coming up with additional crap policies. In the end all jbs carriers will be a like a cr england, swift, jbhunt or and beginner trucking company for new drivers. Nothing more nothing less. And for the drivers that are at jbs now and think its a bed of roses. Just sit back like a typical lazy ### truck driver and do nothing. And you will soon be unemployed. Or the company will drive you out as well. Why in the @ell do you think jbs went from offering a $300 bonus to a $3,000 to now a $5,000 bonus? Its not because its so wonderful at jbs. They can't keep drivers or get enough drivers and they are grasping at straws now trying to survive. And they will bomb out. Its not a matter of if. Its only a matter of when. Jbs will not survive under the current incompetent management in colorado.

We have three different answers from 3 different sources and not one of them can agree what the ACTUAL rule is. I never had a complaint that they have a rule. I am just amazed you keep missing the point.

 

hey yall im new to the site about to go to us truck driving school now jbs will front the money for the school but i have a one year commitment with them there after.

so whatd id like to know is every single thing about this company such as pay, unloading yerself,good company,miles ect

 

And the numbers got a little better in November over being flagged in 2 areas in October BUT then December was even worse than OCTOBER. It won't be the first time JBS has had DOT LITERALLY up their arse. We do not have ELB because they wanted them it was mandated by DOT.

 

No I get the point. Your pissed because the company set a rule but nobody seems to know what the actual rule was... I got it from the start.

It seems you are more less avoiding the test all together.

Here's my 2cents, don't walk run away from this company. Don't let them front the money. Being held hostage for a year making peanuts will only make you quit and leave. You will starve at the rate they pay new drivers. Don't walk RUN as fast as you can.

 

Im typing this for Florida Redneck I usually keep quiet and keep my nose out of things but for everyone complaining about the sleep studies, please be advised that sleep apnea is not something to play with, My older brother John was also a truck driver and sleep apnea was the major cause of his death at the age of 40 I am 49 now and 10 years ago my dr, recommended the test so i had it done and was told I was ok.Even though apprarently JBS has their own set pof rules if the doc tells you to be tested, dont look at it as a bad thing it could quite possible save your life. I know its not a cheap test and a lot of hassles but its better to have it done and if need be get the proper treatment. or else 1 day you are driving the road and fall asleep and kill yourselfor someone else all beacuse you are not getting the proper sleep and in all reality you are tired.
