was insulted for no reason

#### Don, that's cold! Glad you don't deliver to any of the places I work

Although...I could use the "extended break" on occassion...

 

I just had a doctors visit and they have a new Nurse. she comes in being bissy and I asked what did I do? she just spins and walks out. when Doc comes in she looks me over tells me what we need to do and I ask her if she can give her nurse some meds also. She asked me to explain and then leaves the room. Now I'm curious so I listen thru the door as she tells her to go home and decide if she wants to continue here or not. this was at noon and they open at 8 am doc apologized to me and said her exhusband was truck driver and she has an attitude toward them. She be unemployed now.

 

If they have pics of their kids, grandkids, dogs, etc I comment onn how she gets to see them on a nightly basis. I then make a fuss about my kids miss me and how excitied they get when im coming home. I also (white lie) saying this load brings me home. I was loaded under an hr. . I was loaded and rolling.

Same with loaders. Forklift drivers. I usually put a redbull in the door kinda hidden In shadows. They I say, "y'all taking too long, this is mah last load for the day, y'all cutting into mah beer drinking time." Lol. They crack up and usually do a better job.

 

Yep a good attitude and a little kidding goes a long way.

 

I bet she was HOT. Most hotties have attitudes.

 

being obnoxiously nice is just the best thing ever they get so mad.

yes kill em with kindness your in there world just like dot in there world so ya have to go along with it,you wont win ever...it is hard to bite your lip but its better than the carrier calling you about a complaint

 

Natalie actually is my wife. She is really sweet most of the time. It hurts me deeply that you have come on here to say nasty things about my sweet Nat. She does alot for you guys all day everyday.

At one of those mega terminals right now. First guy says, "that loads not gonna be ready until 3am" I know this that's why I'm here now to get my ten and play on TTR... Then his buddy shaking his head (I haven't said much of anything except i'm here for this load) jumps up and says put your empty on the NORTHEAST side of the building... The NORTHEAST side." like i'm destined to screw this up. Lol. Only spot open there has a double parked trailer so I park next to the other trailers on the Northwest side and go in to tell them what happened. I say, " I wanted to let you guys know I had to park on the other side because the only open slot had a trailer hanging over and I wouldn't fit." Rude guy says, "Why driver?! I told you where to put it!" I'm thinking I know where you can put it. It's great that you guys haul ten bazillion double and triple forty footers a day and your drivers make top dollar. But if you could keep up with everything you wouldn't need us to come in and run a few loads. I'm sorry a lot of people here can't get anywhere on time and some are dumber than lug nuts. But I am just trying to do my job! QUIT BEING ###HOLES! I haven't been home in a month and I need a nap. Don't make me come over the booth!!!!
So I just shrugged like I didn't know how to help him. Then I asked if I should just come back at 3am to check on my load. Y'all have a great day!
