Spend every waking moment on TTR searching and reading threads and posts and start building a "favorites" folder of co. websites then start calling/filling out online apps.. It will only take you a week or two to figure it out. Good Luck!

They all are about the same. One bones you here and the other bones you there. I would recommend you look through the threads and get a idea, but keep in mind, a good portion of truckers are little beaches. Don't take to heart every thing you hear . Also when u look at a company consider where you live. You have a better chance of getting to that area with company a than company b. good luck to you and be sure to bring your high boots out on the road with you. The sheet will get pretty deep!!

 

I wouldn't limit yourself to three or so. I start school next week and have been on here about three months and have 20 "A" list companies and 20 "B" list companies. All advertise hiring students or require less than 1 year exp(sometimes they will hire you if you go to a good school). I suspect Ohio has more options than Florida. I want to eventually pull flatbeds and have about 8 "starter" companies on my list that hire students from FL. Just haven't decided if I want to be new to OTR and Flatbed at the same time. Do you know what you want to pull starting out?

 

You better knock off the stuff, they'll catch you sooner or later..
