might not be good for the driver--but that might be the only way they can get their own truck---what ever works for a person is the way to go---but i am not a huge fan of the never never plan--but i also wont call a person names for doing it
ya gotta do what ya gotta do

Lease purchase from a carrier = all the risk with no control.

It is terrific for the company and is absolutely the worst possible arrangement for a driver. The company has you by the short hairs and they know it. While there may be a few companies that are above-board and treat lease purchase drivers with respect and honesty, I would say that the overwhelming odds are against that.

If you have enough money to pay cash why don't you take half of it and go to any bank that you have done business with for awhile and just buy a truck?

Less than a years experience has a whole more to do with getting the money than you think!

If you are paying 1400 a week for a truck I hope that they at least kiss you once in awhile!!!!:biggrin_2555:
If you want to help his credit score pay bills on time never get more than half of the available credit used on any credit card don't fill out apps in stores to get a discount on today's bill run your credit history every year.

There a thousand better ways to get a credit score built up than buying a truck!!

The one thing to remember the bank man don't know trucking but he knows about lending money to truckers. The first thing he is going to ask is just what makes you think you can make it when men that have done this for their whole life can't make it ?

I am a hard worker and I have wanted do do this for a long time don't pay the bills in today's trucking world.

I know this is not what you want to hear and it makes me a mean mean man .

Nobody is out here to give anything just because you want it .

If your own banker won't deal with you why would anyone else?

Jasper truck sales in fort Wayne indiana will work with you ask for Valerie in used truck sales.:biggrin_2554: AND DO NOT GET A LEASED TRUCK!!! They are not designed for you to make any money. No lease to purchase agreement works out there whether from a dealership or a company. They are all meant for you to pay someone else the money so they can buy new trucks.
