Responded to an o/o water tanker driver position as soon as it was posted on the Montana Job service. The guy interviewed me (i'm a newbie) and I was hired along with another guy who only had 2 months experience. This shady guy is the only driver that the owners (who reside in Minnesota) have running their trucks, so he's driving around the clock! (4 days..no sleep![]()
I and the other guy go out there and drive/train for 2 weeks when we get a phone call today from the owners in MN stating their insurance company won't insure us and we are released on the spot? wtf?
Another owner operator nightmare story I wanted to tell you all about. We've both received job offers today, but what a total waste of time.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Just got released today :(
