Gotta love Arrowhead. I should be passing there tomorrow if all goes as planned. Which nothing has gone as planned yet this trip. Oh well.

I ran empty from Portland to Ontario today. Had to wait til 1030 to get rolling. Chain law was in effect from the weigh station at 44 to 216 in Pendleton due to snow/black ice. Thankfully cabbage was clear. I don't know what trucking god I pissed off, but it will be three days and three major mountain passes: Siskiyous, Cabbage and Donner.

Isn't that amazing I drove that today, roads icy 5000ft below and cabbage is dry piece of cake all the way to the loves in heyburn now I've been shut down on the 84 two nights in a rowdue to weather can't make layton now due to 84 being closed

#### guys, I am Denver bound hopefully back to east coast. I got stuck ok Chicago.snow storm. Left green bay to pick up university park. Took 10 hours to drive 250 miles, and two hours to go 18 miles. Cars spun out everywhere. Salt shakers five wide. I was beat.

Well, it is winter time after all

I always got a chuckle out of student trainees who told me they were going 11 western states because they didn't wanna have to drive in that "dangerous east coast weather". -
how is may reefer side coming in as a student will i eat good are starve to deaf

well I guess we were lucky, my friend is also with a trainer, and he said they kept getting stopped cause of chaining and road closures. We ran from layton and now sitting in the drop yard at auburn and we didn't have to chain or sit at a stop cause of road closures. now just waiting for a 5am drop in tacoma so we have quite a few hours to kill. and the crows are jumping all over the lot and the truck!!! its like that movie "the birds"!

Ill find out this week if I start orientation next week. So, ive heard all kinds of horror stories about prolly every company. but, i have to ask..
1) With May.. How do they pay? on comdata card or do they do direct deposit? I obviously wont ask about the idle time.. seems to be a sore subject with the old heads..
2) Is lease pushed onto the drivers? I don't have an interest in it at this point. -
I drive a lot of hwy 287 from Ft. Worth to Amarillo and, really for the first time, saw a lot of May trucks. Do they have a new terminal or something down here?
