Also, do you truly believe those numbers? If so, drug use amongst Florida's welfare recipients is incredibly lower than the general population. That number is generally reported at 8 to 10%.

These laws are struck down because the ACL-POO get involved and say the law DISCRIMINATES...well if you are going to take government subsidized income, then I think the government should have the right to drug test you, just as an employer would. These welfare programs are for assistance not DEPENDENCE!!

 

Been out of the loop the last three years, I see. Now, as an American, you are "entitled" to others wages and wealth. We no longer aspire to be among the 1%. Instead we demand their "fair share" with no explanation of what that is other than "more, more, more." We are no longer "exceptional."

Well guess I'll put my two cents worth in. Glad you quit the drugs, and yes pot is drugs. I'm amazed at the ones that call it just a plant. Most drugs are made from plants. Cocaine came from a plant too. Now as far as dreams and driving, truckin ain't for sissy's. It's a hard life and it takes It's toll on your body, and nerves at times. Hell most drivers don't even talk to one another anymore. Unless It's to say something I can't say here. Don't look for help out here anymore, It's far a few now a days. Chase your dream, play it safe, or it will end badly. Stay off the drugs, and the drink. Drinking is just as bad. Best of luck to you.
