You're not really being a yard jockey at this particular place. Your load is usually preloaded, plus they only have like 4 docks. We keep 2 trailers in the docks at all times so they can load them and we do a drop in hook. Yea a pain sometimes but better than waiting around like L.B. said.

Good luck with your test Truckin!

31 days of logging this morning, then trip planning most of afternoon. Pretty good day I'd say. Alot of drivers stopped in, you should have said hi. The closed door didn't stop anyone, lol. Be safe!:biggrin_2559:

Way to rub it in ricrey...... I do miss that chicken:biggrin_25514:
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on hometime. I go next Wednesday. That makes it an even 30 days out. I will post the stats when it is in the bank.
I grabbed a load of flooring at Tarkett in Pa. and ran it to Menards in Plano. If you arrive at Menards in the middle of the night make sure you have 2 copies of your BOL. The guard has to keep one and has no copy machine. Copies are no fun at 3am:biggrin_2556: Took an 8 at the Menards lot and went to Dalton IL and got a load of cardboard headed for NY. I have been experimenting with the split sleeper thing. Sometimes it gets me moving quicker. I am not exactly sure how the formula works but I watch the QC and when the hours are right for my needs I use it.:biggrin_25523:
Living the dream and still smiling:biggrin_25525: Be safe and have fun!
