What am I getting myself into?! Newbie from WA State...

But all my money went to pay for school!

 

I'm not going to lie, I tried to get some extra help, but apparently the last 2 jobs I held are still in high demand. In the past almost 3 years I have been a general labor construction worker without the necessary skills to compete in the current job market, and a driver for 1-800-G*T-J*NK. Apparently there is plenty of work for people with the "experience" I have, I just can't seem to find it. Most construction jobs require more skills and experience that I have, and most, if not all worthwhile local driving jobs require a CDL. I'm looking for a career and I have no problem running hard, paying my dues, earning my keep and not driving asleep.

I have a few companies in mind...these are who I'll be sending apps to immediately (in no particular order):

2. TWT (I know that #1 & #2 are both part of Trans-System Inc.)
3. Watkins & Shepard
4. May Trucking
5. Schneider
6. Stevens

What do you guys think? Is there another OTR company that you would recommend? I've heard good and bad from pretty much every company so I'd be interested in opinions. Thanks!
