Right but you still have to do drive test with a/b if you want a class A without restriction.

I think you can see how we have been going around in circles. Wouldnt the A/B show up on the DL as a restriction then?

I already know how it happend, either laziness or incompetence. Not surprising when dealing with DOT, DPS, DMV, or whatever it may be called in any state

I had most of the endorsements on my cdl when I got cleared for hazmat. The kid at the dmv was just supposed to add a hazmat endorsement. First he left off doubles, caught that before he printed it. Then he gave me my license and I left thinking all was well. Got to looking at it later: a/b restricted. I've always had air brakes. So I took it back and the lady added that back at no charge. Apparently he'd screwed up a lot of licenses the one day he was there.

But wait, it gets better. I opened up a new account at the credit union, tired of the bank's bs, and they copied my info down off my cdl. My sister went down later, opened an account for the same reason, and set part of it up joint with mine cause it makes it easier to take care of stuff while I'm away. They ask her, wait, don't you two live at the same address? Numbnuts got my address one number off on my cdl and I never noticed. So now I have to go down to the wonderful dmv yet again.
