Dude, Dude, can't believe you telling this guy that info. 12k on the steers (max) 34k on the drives (max) then 20k on the remaining 3 axles each (max)......HOWEVER, you forgot to mention 80k gross, right ? So, if you want to make it LEGAL, its 17k on the single axles, which is 68k plus the steer, which is 12 which equals 80k.

Now our friend here is running a twin screw, pulling a set, right ? So, while he can gross 34k on his drives, he'll have to adjust his back axle on his front trailer downward from 17k if he does indeed have 34k on his drives. Then his rear trailer should max out at 17k per axle, IF he wants to run 20 k on an axle, which is legal, he better only have 14k on the other axle, which would equal 34k. 12 plus 34 plus 20/20/20 would equal 106k, just a tad over, I think.

Weighing this set on a cat scale should work, but you may have to "axle weigh" it.

Yeah, you posted that while I was typing, didn't want this guy to think he can put 20 k on all axles.

I was wondering if the bridge between the front trailer and dolly was long enough to do 20K on both? Has to be 10'+, just like a spread.

Question where does the law say that you can only have 12,000 on the steers ? I'm thinking any axle more than 10' from another can carry up to 20,000. So would this apply to steers also? Most trucks with sleepers are gonna have the required 10 feet.

There's no way you can put 20k on your steers, unless they're rated for it, such as redi-mix trucks and super 10's and heavy haul power units. A regular power unit isn't.
