I just borrow them for a couple of months at a time, then return them...
for the $500 "trailer deposit".
A guy has to earn a living somehow.Mommas_money_maker and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
Those trailers already have new VIN plates put on and are rolling down the road as we speak. The Reitnouers are probably in a scrap yard, as I've heard crazy scrap values on all aluminum trailers, like $7-8,000!!!

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I wonder if Malone has any old Cold & Hungry guys over there? I remember some of those guys keeping 'spare' trailers tucked away on the farm.
-
cold and hungry, been a long while since i heard that. C& H was a good outfit back in the day.
-
Missing trailers is common. When I worked for FFE, they had at any given time about 1-12 missing trailers and would send Q-comm messages to "BOLO"....
-
They almost reported the trailer my uncle was pulling for them cause he took a few weeks off and didn't hear from him. I bet these trailers are sitting behind some of their O/O's who took some time off...LOL
Or...... someone actually completed a L/P of a trailer and they want the trailer back....LOLMommas_money_maker Thanks this. -
Thats what happens when you drop your junk at a TS.
Les2 and VisionLogistics Thank this. -
Back last summer I was unloading in Laredo and the trailer they put my coilz on was a Prime flatbed. Still had Prime mudflaps and Prime inc. on the beams and the Prime unit number. Only thing different on it was the Mexican Lic tag.
I started to ask if they needed any more.
