For just how long do I keep the water release valve open after I fuel?
Just had the filter replaced here at The J in Ft Chiswell, Va.

Up an incline it was running ragged at times.

Eng sounded like the jake was flipped on then off before gaining power back. Plus the check eng light would flash on while the temp gauge did a dance.
Then poof, normal again. I thought I was draining enough out. Guess not.

Oh yeah, this trip I also cut a sidewall. Didnt lose any air but I thought I better get it replaced.

 

Be careful not to loose prime or you will need a can of starting fluid to get it running again

 

Dont use starting fluid geeze. Just open for second then close

well thats what I had been doing. I would be able to readily see the difference between water and fuel wouldn't I?

At any rate, I'll find out tomorrow IF that was what was actually wrong with it. I get to pull some I-77N in WV. Must say though I did Fancy Gap northbound at 35-40mph. Was surprised I did that , to be honest. Had lesser grades get me down to 25!!

it took all #### day but it is done. poor girl in the sni insurance office. it was her 3rd day and she was all alone. she had to redo the insurance 4 times. the last time was after her quiting time. stacey in ins. i owe you one.

now that i have the truck i will say its from lone mountain truckleasing, its my second truck from them and they bent over backwards for me when NOBODY else would finance me. i am in council bluffs ia. had to take it to the dealer to have the idle shut down turned off. they did a few.other ecm tweeks and its running real good now, and more importantly its idling more then two minutes.

at 4:15 when i was ready to sign the papers they realized i hadnt ever filled out a credit app. since i was already a customer in good standing they pushed it right thru and got me closed at 4:45. (they close at 4:30)

i havent eaten since 6am. im going to go kill the ta on all you can eat, then im going to bed. will bobtail to st. louis oc tomorrow

Cool. Congrats. If you are in town Monday, I might be able to stop and take a look at it. What's your truck #?

 

I'm sure you'll be a whole lot happier in that KW than you were in the shaker.

 

dont have one yet. they change numbers now when you change trucks. i will be there, i wont be able to get registration till monday at least. it sure would be nice to get to work. im hemoraging money right now.
