Sorry that it has taken me so long to get on here to give an update. To tell the truth I have been running pretty hard for the last week or so and when I am down for my 10 hour break I haven't had the best signal on my wifi hotspot, so I haven't updated....... I will admit, there were two weeks together that really hurt my pocket book, but things are starting to get better now that the "slow" period is about up.
I am going to break down my numbers so far. Please keep in mind that I had two bad weeks were I only made a few hundred dollars after my truck payment, fuel, maintenance and insurances came out. These are my numbers starting Dec. 1, 2011 and are thru this week.
I drove 14,682 loaded miles and 2459 deadhead miles. I netted $8102.19 during this time (8 weeks). I averaged 14% deadhead miles, which are a little higher then I like, but at least it means getting exceptional fuel mileage. I averaged 2143 miles a week and $1012.77 a week in pay. That works out to .47cpm profit. Sorry that I don't have my totals for fuel, but I will look into getting those ready sometime soon.
I hope that this helps answer some questions that a few of you have as to what happened to me. I'm not gone, but just don't seem to have enough time, or internet service to update as often as I would like to. I will however have time this weekend to respond to posts, I don't reload until Sunday night so time is on my side. LOL, be safe everyone!
Made my decision.... American Central Transport (ACT) it is

Sorry to inform you buddy, but not all lease programs are designed to make you go broke. I'm doing fine, but thanks for worrying.
-
I don't even know what an EBT card is. Krooser must know a lot about it though so that helps.

Just finished tlking with act rec..2/13 will be the day..kinda excited but will hav someone review the lease b4 i sign
-
Congrats and welcome aboard!! It's nice, ACT has nothing to hide so they give you the contract well before you start orientation so that you have plenty of time to review it and have an attorney look it over as well. I think that you will enjoy it here, but just remember to keep your foot out of the throttle. Freight is starting to pick up a little bit now, so hopefully things only get better from here on out.ghettochild Thanks this.
