Hi, I am going to come down to TX in a wk or two looking for a water hauler job. I have a CDL-A and have my combo, dbls.+ trpls, T and X endorsements. Does anyone know what Key Energy, as well as MBI pay their tankwagon water haulers per hr in TX? Do they pay X and 1/2 OT ? I'm trying to see how they measure up to Nabors who starts their drivers at $15.50 hrly.

I think Key is 15 and 16 nights. -
oil field work is booming in north dakota right now , plenty of work up there

Welcome to the forum!
PAHILLBILLY, are you working in the oilfields in PA, TX, OR ND?
and what is it you do? -
Well hearing about all the jobs can anyone suggest a good company that would be willing to take me on for training. I graduated from a certified CDL-a school and have HAZMAT and Tanker endors but am finding it so difficult to get into any company that isn't one of those that have bad reps. Well looking forward to what anyone or someone might say to help.Btw I am a veteran and unemployed now for 2yrs and the gov is offering any company a tax break to hire me and also to pay half my wages during training.

What happened to this thread. It was busting with messages from people in texas working or people on there way.Sure hope the wells haven't dried up already or all the jobs moved to ND lol

I don't know about everybody else, but i'm working almost every day. Maybe some other New York refugees can speak up!

Thanks for your reply concerning Key Energy!
I guessed that they all will fall between $15.-17.pr hr.. plus overtime. Good enough for me!
