Well it's good to know they warn you first and don't just cut it off your pay. I think that's something I'm going to have to keep on top of, the idle. Is there an idle timer as well as the opti-idle? I don't think I could go to sleep with the truck starting and shutting off the whole time.

They don't always warn you. 2 of my former students were hit with over idle and no warning till it was on there check. The Qualcomm does give an idle percent, but resets every week or sometimes more. They total for the month is what they base it on and is difficult for the driver to keep track of over that long.

I smoke cigarettes and was wondering if they will put you in a truck with a trainer who smokes as well. And just to clarify, they do allow smoking in their trucks, right? I can't believe I forgot to ask haha.
-
Yes smoking is allowed in the trucks and yes you can ask for a trainer that smokes as well. Actually if you request a trainer who doesn't smoke it sometimes harder to find then on who does. Had a female that went to school with me that wanted a female non-smoking trainer. After waiting for six weeks and still not in a trainer truck she gave up and took a female that did smoke.

About how long does it take for them to take you to Wal-Mart after you first get there. I'm flying up and don't wanna pay for another checked bag but I do need a sleeping bag when I get to West Valley. Anyone know?

Just a heads up about the peelot trk stop. If ya'll aren't checking to make sure you got your points while fueling, you need to start now. They did some kind of change, bout 2 months ago, that has really screwed the pooch. I've had to get mine "manually" loaded, for about 3 weeks now.

Just crank up the room heater

2011 and later should. Mine doesn't have one, and she's a 2010. It's the one thing I wish she had.

I'm shorter than you, and when I went to work for Central, I weighed more than you. They never requested any sleep study or anything like that. I just showed up, and had high blood pressure because I was nervous, and got a 1 year card. I already had a 2 year card with 20 months left on it, but Central pulled the "We required you to get a new physical if it's more than 60 days old" thing, and we did it.

When you leave load locks in a trailer, you need to put over the qualcomm something like this "Load 64xxxxx trailer 5xxxxx X load locks left in trailer when dropped"
And then, get with your DM to make sure they put notes in the load information correctly. "ok to replace" is not a proper notation, nor is "replace load locks" or anything else. They need to notate that you left 2 locks in the trailer. When you go to get replacements, keep the trailer number and the load number, because they will ask for both.
If your dm doesn't note the account properly, or any dm note the account, you will spend weeks getting the money back. It took me 8 weeks once, and I had to yell at my dm to get it done right.
