Agree...I have bought several radios from Custom CB also, and never disappointed... There are several more I have bought from and never burned from either...About the only times I have been burned buying "On-Line" was buying off eBay...Which I will never do again, I don't care how good a deal it may sound...

Best way to find good CB Shops on-line that won't rip you a new one, is to check out some of the "CB Forums" and look at their sponsors...

Most of the Forum Sponsors are reliable, and if by chance you feel you got a raw deal from one, usually the Forums Admin will help you get your problem resolved since you bought from their sponsor...

If he sells radios that modulate over 100% and spew harmonics across the spectrum, I would consider him a hack. But if you're happy with that I guess it's all good.

I'm sure with anything, some are good, and some are bad. I only called out one by name. I would personally never buy online again. I am glad you all have had good experiences with the shop you have dealt with.

Some people live in areas where they don't have any local CB shops. And all internet shops are not bad.

At an average speed of 65 mph, I would have to drive about 1.5 days to get to a CB shop. Since all my routing takes me no further then 350 to 400 miles from base, that means I never get to an area were there is even a hack CB shop muchless a good CB shop.

    Big_m Thanks this.

You can buy a connex 3300hp for the same price or a general lee for way under that price. It's only a 30 watt difference and one less thing to brake.Plus you get echo.

Why not just buy a General and be done with it? General does 120 give or take,If you can find one there flying off the shelves.
