Thanks bk2..as far as chosing your loads,do u pick a load and see what is coming out of delivery area or just pick and when u get there they give you 3 more loads to choose frm?
-
You don't know ahead of time unless they plan you on the next one at the same time. We only get a choice of loads probably 40% of the time. More often they just send you one load and your choice is to say yes or no. I don't really say no very often.

i sent you a pm hope you get it.

Alright, they got me a load back to the shop and when i went to get fuel my fuel card was turned off so via a comcheck they gave me 200.00 bucks for fuel to do my run from Nashville, Tn. to Kansas City, Mo. That gave me about 56 gal. Then they tried to tell me that from Nashville, Tn. to West Memphis, Ar. where i got the load was only 98 miles, and wanted to give me crap because i needed more fuel. This load was set to deliver on Saturday between 8am and 2pm. Ran out of hours so i told them it would be late and they responded with (THEY ARE CLOSED ON THE WEEKENDS) reschedualed your time for Monday. i am now sitting at the shop with no fuel and T-Called the load. Stayed at the Flying J off exit 188 last night because it didnt deliver until monday and an employee of pilot came beating on my door saying ACT wanted to make sure i didnt ABANDON the TRUCK there. LMFAO REALLY!!!!!!!!!!! If i was going to do that i would have done it at HOME not in MISSOURI!!!!! all i can say is WOW, this was a mistake, and never again will i do this, i am actually giving up trucking now and returning to my previous career as a Paramedic. Best of luck to you all, now to see if they leave me stuck here or if they are decent enough to get me a bus ticket. Good luck everyone and as my last post stated. DONT TAKE ANY TIME OFF OR YOU WILL PAY FOR IT.

Closed on weekends and appointment was set for Saturday. Someone did not plan.properly from.above. I wish.you luck, I feel for you. Drivers catch all the crap because of others mistakes. If I was you take pictures of all your QC messages with bad planning. You can use it legally if you choose that route to lessen the lease.

I'm curious I see a lot of new leases on this thread, does anyone no how many people finish their term, how many fail, the drivers that are leaseing now, how many drivers have u talked to that finished the lease. And own their truck?
platinum Thanks this. -
I know last I have heard out of our fleet of 300 trucks about 170 of them are lease trucks. We had about 40 guys last year finish the lease and own the truck. I personally have met at least 15 guys who finished it.
