Thanks guys. We definitely appreciate the business and appreciate you standing up for Lone Mountain on here.
We have a couple disgruntled people that anonymously posted completely untrue stories on ripoffreport.com If you guys want to post your side on there it would really help us out. Most were posted by the same guy using different usernames.

Hey Joe have yall thought about doing a trade up program anymore??alex94 Thanks this. -
We haven't put anything in place yet. Our leases are fairly short terms and we wouldn't want to be redoing leases every year, but maybe something like a trade in program after 2 years would be able to work for everyone.
losttrucker Thanks this. -
Wish you guys would go back to leasing the brand new peterbilts again. I should have gotten in on that when you guys had it going!!
RedForeman and losttrucker Thank this. -
just want to say after 9 months i'm still happy with my truck
-
@SHC, I'm not really sure why, but the new truck thing was a complete flop for us. I think the payment was 2200/month, which is pretty cheap for a new loaded up Pete. We hardly had anyone interested at the time.
@Flood, Great to hear.RedForeman and SHC Thank this. -
may have been the economy at the time joe, as things brighten up. that program might work, especially for guys that have had one of your trucks and who could trade/sell with you to get a brand new one. just a thought.
got mine in tifton and have been happy with it and lone mountain. -
i think most people who had the kind of downpayment you needed were able to get their own financing and order the exact truck they wanted. i know when we were able to buy new we custom spec'd every truck.
also there was a big buyout at the end. not sure about anyone else but the no ballon payment or buyout is what i like about you guys. and with no trade up program what are your options other than come up with a big buyout or give back a truck youve just paid on for years.
stick to what you do and what works.
as for being able to trade in. i kind of wonder how many trucks you get back in the last year of their lease because guys had major breakdowns and couldnt afford the repairs. the ability to trade in after two years or.so while the truck still has some value on the auction or wholesale market could possibly reduce those numbers considerablylosttrucker Thanks this. -
my truck has a bad u joint, i take it all back joes a jerk

lolSHC and losttrucker Thank this. -
I think it had to do with the $12,000 down. No offense to your customers but most of them have a hard time getting the $4,000 u ask for the used trucks. The balloon payment at the end was reasonable I think. If u ever decide to do it again please let me know. I'm gonna be in the market by the end of the year.Last edited: Feb 1, 2012
