Truck drivers victimized while en-route

That video was wild. That gal had several chances to gas on it & run that crack head down. Very disappointed that she didnt. Moosetek13 recommends sending a Qualcomm messg if in trouble. You have got to be kidding.

 

I missed most of what he was saying. I don't speak ghetto gibberish. The simple solution to that particular problem would be a quick shot to the head.
No more problem, and here in some states its completely legal to do it.

Even caught on tape like that, the police would be hard pressed to do anything about it. The owners of the car would have to file a report first, and they likely won't, it would mean having to go to court, than the punk would get off because his daddy didn't love him enough.

 

Injun, I am of the humble opinion that the founding fathers where very clear on what they meant by the right to bear arms. A law abiding person should be allowed to carry whatever they want, where ever and whenever they want. Even in a truck. I will go with the common theme of "if's you have nothing to hide, it shouldn't be an issue". If someone is not a threat to me, my gun shouldn't worry or concern them. To me, gun control means hitting what you are aiming at.

Aside from the occasional crazed mutant in shoulder pads trying to steal my juice, I have no problems with muggers when driving my tanker truck.

 

nothing good ever happens broke down on the side of the road, while not as serious as being robbed of course, dot and the state police love to take that time as an invite to do a quick inspection on you.

 

This is a Prime Example of why i carry a Glock 27 in my Truck. I have the Permit and wont hesitate to use it if my life is threatened.. Yrs ago a young trainee was at the old Loretta's in Fontana and was with his trainer.. The young man hooked up with a lot lizard and i guess after services were rendered she wanted more money.. he didnt have the xtra cash so her pimp promptly beat him then shot him in the back of the head.. All over $10 more dollars...

 

Y'know what aggravates/amuses me? The fact that all of these bottm feeders seem to think truckers carry large amounts of cash.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm in full agreement with you. I would take it a step further to include reinstatement of rights to former felons who have shown they are rehabilitated. I believe that once their debt to society is paid, it should be marked "Paid in Full." I wonder how much recidivism is due to the apathy caused by knowing they will be second class people forever, no matter how hard they work, how productive they are or how well they do and they will never, ever enjoy all rights afforded to US citizens....?
