Speaking of the motels, when I was in school we stayed at Crosslands. Not too bad. Little kitchenette too and thats nice. After she schooling is over you get to stay at Americas Best. Its a total dump! Pretty nasty place! I have video of a washrag that I was about to use in the shower. It has little black curly hairs all in it among other things.

As far as the school and training, I think that its as good as it gets.

The lease, I was the only one out of my class of 35 that stayed on the company side. Only one guy was making money at it. The rest were (are) bringing very little if anything home. Make sure that you do your research if you go Alliance. I know that it works great for some guys but its not for everyone. At least they let you go back to company if you want to.

I never went pre alliance or alliance. Before going out on the grad fleet I had to talk to a recruiter. I explained to him that I wanted to learn the ins and outs of driving a truck before I would even consider thinking about going alliance. He said that he understood and that he would be calling and bugging me. Since May he has called one time and I told him that I wasnt interested at the time. Havent heard from him since.

In other words I was never pressured into joining alliance nor have they pestered me to join. I can respect them for that.

What else do they check? Wish all the best in the world, just don't give up your dreams! You can try other companies like Schneider National, here is the number so you can call and ask if there hiring 1800-447-7433... Good luck bro....
