Husband saw a red Prime truck in the parking lot at the local Ocean State Job Lot store (Belfast, ME). He looked around inside the store to see if anyone there looked like they belonged to it, didn't see anyone. It seemed to be parked more for "shopping" than for someone using the lot for a snooze.

Tomorrow is the CDL permit test. Husband studying/taking practice tests. Doing well so far. Here's hoping the real thing isn't too different from the practice tests.

Unless something goes funky with recruiter today, husband will be in Springfield for orientation on the 14th.

Assuming all goes well with that (it will, it will, think positive!) he'll be looking for someone to do his PSD with. I hope he can get a trainer that's serious about training, knows his stuff, has done it and can pass it on to an intelligent, mature fellow adult whose ready to learn.

He's got a lot riding in this career switch -- and taking it all very seriously -- and we do not want valuable training time and learning opportunity squandered by being paired with one of the various "horror story/screamers/slackers/pig sty" trainers. Some recent pairings discussed in this forum are less than ideal.

Other than passing muster at orientation, that's our mutual big concern.

    Quest4ADV Thanks this.
