It look like the State of Illinois wants to band our 2-way radios when we're driving. And ALL of us need to contact the law makers and let them know that we are not the problem. There is no proof that anyone using a CB, or Amateur radio has caused accidents on the roadways. We as Drivers can be a powerful voice like in Delaware if we use it. Today they take away our radios. What do they take tomorrow? We really need to stop this wording of these bills. :biggrin_25513:

You know, these clowns in states who want to control your every move really torque me off! I wonder how they would like if if suddenly no trucks brought food to those fat clowns in Illinois?:biggrin_25523: How long would their insipid little "ban" last? :biggrin_25519:

I'm thinking 2 days, max. Wouldn't hurt any of us to avoid one state for a mere 2 days, right? But all the shippers and receivers, the businesses that bring in all that fat tax money, would freak the #### out within hours.

    Never going to happen,

Avoid Illinois coming from Des Moines going to Youngstown, that will be cheap for you :Gas::Gas::Gas: ????

Company owners could give 2 sh!ts about their drivers not being able to use a CB in Illinois.

Deliver the freight or they will hire one of the thousands of drivers looking for a job everyday.

Owner operators not go to Illinois?

Brokers will just get one of the thousands of owner operators waiting for a load on the network.

Avoiding the state is NOT the answer

I don't understand why they want to "ban" radios. Really? It's not even in the same galaxy as texting while driving.
